Roadster Reference privacy notice

Published by ·

Effective October 16, 2026. Roadster Reference is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to the wiki. The site has no advertising, user accounts or payment processing.

The live site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-YF1YP1DRZB). Google receives visit and device information, such as the page viewed, referring site, browser and approximate location. Analytics can store cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Network requests to Google also involve connection information, including an IP address; see Google’s explanation of GA4 data collection and Google’s privacy policy.

Our analytics code runs only on teslaroadster.wiki, excludes the site’s 404 page, and does not load when the browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can enable one of those signals or block Google Analytics in your browser to prevent this code from loading on future visits.

We remove query strings and fragments from the page and referrer URLs supplied by our analytics configuration. We do not add custom analytics events for search queries or correction text. Google Analytics may collect additional interaction events according to the data stream’s enhanced measurement settings. Our tag disables Google Signals and advertising personalization, and sets advertising storage and advertising user data to denied.

Pagefind search runs in the browser using an index delivered with the site. We do not operate a search-query collection endpoint. Fetching the index still makes ordinary hosting requests. The site can save your selected theme in browser storage.

The form requests a page URL and correction text. You may include public source links in the text; it does not request an email address or a Tesla login. The stored record contains the page URL, message and server-generated submission time.

Records are saved in the publisher’s Cloudflare KV storage with a 30-day expiry and used for editorial review. The application does not add IP addresses to those stored correction records. Hosting and security processing can still involve connection data separately.

Do not send account numbers, payment details or other sensitive information. Because no reply address is collected, the form cannot support individualized correspondence. The about page contains the form.

Cloudflare processes requests to deliver and protect the website. We do not claim that the service creates no access or security logs. For the provider’s practices, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Citations and replay links lead to external websites with their own cookies, accounts and privacy practices. The X video is linked; an external video player is not automatically embedded on an article visit.

If collection or storage practices change, this notice will be revised. The correction form can receive a site privacy concern without sensitive details, but it provides no reply channel.
